How to Make a References Page

References


You will create a "References Page" for your Internship Advertisement. You will need to collect information at your site this week in order to do this. Some important notes about writing your references:

* References are the people who can recommend you for a job, scholarship, or any program you are applying for.
* You must include at least two references, and one must be from your internship.
* The reference page needs to include the person's full name, address, telephone number, and email.
* You must ask each person if it’s OK for you to use him/her as a reference
* When you submit your resume to a place where you are applying for a job, don't submit the references page. Bring it with you but keep it until an employer asks for it.
* DO NOT include friends who are you own age or family membersas references
* For the last section of your resume, you should write this:
