Post 4 - Internship Vocabulary

Part 1 Instructions
The following is a list of words that relate to internship and the workplace. You will do three things with each word: 1)Write the word in your native language 2)Write the definition 3)Write a sample sentence for each word. If you already know the meaning of the word, you do not need to look it up in the dictionary- just write down the definition. If you do look the words up in the dictionary, make sure you are choosing the definition that relates to the workplace. Write all definitions in your own words.

Native Language: Entusiasta
Definition: If you are enthusiastic about something, you show how much you like or enjoy it by the way that you behave and talk.
Sentence: Yousef was enthusiastic about his new internship and worked very hard as a result.
Part 2 Instructions - Due Friday May 7th
Your internship site is rich with new vocabulary words and/or phrases. One internship goal is to further develop your English language proficiency. By now you have probably heard many words at your internship that are new to you. Write down at least five new vocabulary words or phrases that relate specifically to your internship site. Listen closely to the words your mentor or co-workers use to figure out what words are important to know.
For each word/phrase, you will do three things: 1)Write the word/phrase 2)Define the word (If it's a phrase, then describe the meaning of the phrase) 3) Describe the context in which you learned about the word. Write all definitions in your own words.
EXAMPLE:
Word: Jailbroken
Meaning: Jailbroken refers to a computer hardware device that has been hacked or broken into.
Context: My internship mentor used this word while she was talking to a coworker about new technology and some of the problems people encounter.
